About Us

Dedicated on Veterans Day in 1955, this building has hosted acts such as Elvis Presley to Britney Spears.  Today it is the home for countless public trade shows, exhibits, concerts, theater, competitions and much more.  Providing entertainment to the public all while catering to our core mission “to commemorate the services of all members and veterans of the armed forces of the United States .”

We offer many extra amenities including, but not limited to, phone service, electric, wireless fiber optic internet service, parking lot with over 900 parking spaces and an additional 1,800 across the street, pre-event planning as well as a friendly and helpful staff.  We will work with you to make sure that your event runs smoothly.

Veterans Memorial is located in Columbus, Ohio just 15 minutes from Columbus International Airport and blocks away from busy downtown.  With over 145,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space, banquet rooms, and a 3,916 seat theater, Veterans Memorial has all the space you need for your next event.

Columbus is considerably less expensive than most other major cities. That's important because as a professional meeting planner, show manager, or concert producer, you are concerned about your costs and your attendees cost. Columbus delivers the entire value-plus package, not just the ribbon and wrapping!

Ohio's capital city is an excellent meeting site by location alone. Columbus, the 16th largest city in the nation, is situated within a 600 mile radius of two-thirds of the population of the United States. Columbus offers a wonderful variety of lodging accommodations in all price ranges from luxurious international hotels to rustic park lodges just a short drive away. Franklin County offers more than 15,000 hotel and motel rooms with 2500 located in the heart of the central business district.

If you want to provide diversions for your meeting attendees or their families, Columbus will not disappoint you. The city is well known for its historic districts, world class zoo (rated #1 Zoo in the nation), performing  arts, restaurants, night clubs and sporting events - something for every age group. The city has one of the cleanest, friendliest environments you will ever have the pleasure of visiting. Veterans Memorial, Franklin County and the City of Columbus stand ready to roll out the red carpet for groups large and small and will do whatever it takes to make your visit rewarding and successful.

These are just a few of the reasons why so many meeting planners and show managers come to Columbus and Veterans Memorial year after year.
